

The aim of the South Gosforth Residents' Association is to promote the benefit of the public of South Gosforth by the enhancement of the local environment therein, in particular but not exclusively by the provision, maintenance and improvement of an area of open space for informal recreation, play and other leisure time pursuits with the object of improving their conditions of life.

We meet most months in the Brandling Villa in South Gosforth.
Our meetings are open to all residents in the South Gosforth area. You may have an issue to raise, or wish to become a permanent member of the Committee. Perhaps you are just interested in what is going on around you. No matter what, we’d love to see you there — the dates of the next few meetings are listed below. Meetings last for about an hour and are kept as informal as possible!

Gosforth Colliery, mid 19th century. The pit closed in the 1920s and the Hunters Road/Ridgewood Estate was built on the site in 1938.
